Eötvös Loránd University calls for application from PhD students to participate at the LERU Doctoral Summer School.
Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) invites applications from doctoral students interested in participating in the LERU Doctoral Summer School, hosted by Lund University in Sweden from 13 to 18 June 2027.
The theme of the 2027 Doctoral Summer School will be “Approaching climate change: different perspectives and methods.”
The Doctoral Summer School is an annual event organised by the League of European Research Universities (LERU). It aims to provide doctoral candidates with unique opportunities for professional and personal development beyond the experience they typically gain during their PhD training. By bringing together talented young researchers in an international, intercultural and interdisciplinary environment, the programme offers a stimulating learning experience with lasting benefits for participants’ future careers.
Lund University is supporting the CE7 partnership by reserving places for doctoral students from CE7 universities and waiving the tuition fee of €600 for participating CE7 students.

Doctoral students whose research interests are relevant to the theme of the Summer School are encouraged to express their interest in participating.
